Description as provided by the Designer:

Located amidst the bustling locality of Varachha in the diamond capital of Gujarat, the 4-BHK apartment was transformed into a timeless sanctuary for the client. Completed in April 2024, the interior design of an apartment having a carpet area of 2800 Sq. Ft and a super built- up area of 4200 Sq. Ft was finished under a crisp timeline of 12 months. With a vision to craft a design that aligned with the client’s desire for a clutter-free and simplicity inclined home, the designers worked towards achieving an outcome that is precisely that. The creation of an open, airy and vibrant 4BHK drove the process for a visually clean and simple house.

The process began with conceptualizing multifunctional spaces that reflect the client’s minimalist ideology. Since there was a unique opportunity to bask in maximum views of the beautiful river in every space that had a visual access to it, the spaces were designed to have access to ample river views and natural light through long glass windows. As the essential factor of any space is to evolve along with its users’ inevitable evolution, this apartment is designed to be fluid with flexible furniture arrangements and adaptable technology.

As one enters the house, one is greeted with an open temple setting the tone for a rather spiritual atmosphere and serenity as one is led further inside the space. The temple space is adorned with geometric patterns in shades of blue and black with a decorative lotus in-between with the beautiful Krishna Mahamantra crowning it adding spiritual depth to the space. An overall positivity-filled environment of the house is a gift of the temple crafted right at th entrance with a design that supports the psychological aspects of spirituality.

The temple space leads one to the welcoming living area which serves as a perfect blend of a minimalistic and elemental design. Featuring a subtle earthy color palette including the shades of brown, grey, and white, the space merges with the dining area enabling the effortless communication for the family engaged in different activities at the same time. Featuring textured grey fabric on sofas, rustic veneer used in panels and furniture, paired with beautiful geometric rugs, the living room gives out a dynamic and cohesive feel. A striking green marble wall panel stands out in terms of the materials and colors of the space enhancing the space’s liveliness even more. The living room is connected to the dining space highlighting glossy blue table surface, sleek metal-framed chairs uniquely complemented by an intricately crafted chandelier, resulting into a space that boasts of opulence. Each bedroom in the 4BHK was designed to soak in luxury with each having a distinct character.

For instance, bedroom 1 derives its dynamic character from the abstract wave-like patterns on the fabric in the shades of grey, brown and beige used on wall. The room evokes elegance with an underlying softness and sophistication. The bedroom 2 stands out in terms of its abstract organic pattern inscribed on walls, paired with floor-to-ceiling sea green curtains. The room’s furniture is equally functional and artistic and is made visible by a large wardrobe having muted green finish and brass handles. Designed to exude serenity, the third bedroom features light grey walls and minimal décor.

Featuring a tan and white color scheme, the fourth bedroom shines with a curved headboard and a built-in wall shelving with an arched top. Additionally, all the bedrooms have automated screens attached to beds to control lighting and privacy. Budget management, just like all the design projects played a crucial role in this one ensuring the financial constraints are considered while delivering an ideal abode for the client.

The project was anticipated to be completed within a budget of ₹80 lakhs and that was achieved with well-curated material palette and the right choice of furnishings. Regular site visits, workshops and client meetings guaranteed that a transparency was maintained in the budget with detailed allocations for labor, accessories, technological considerations and furniture.

A smooth collaboration among the design team, contractors and craftsmen throughout the different phases of the project made it certain that every space in the house was executed to perfection. The distinctive features of the project such as custom fabric wall panels, automated window treatments, and lighting installations demanded a perfectly tuned collaboration of the designers and artisans resulting into spaces that breathe life.

The 4BHK in Mantra Luxuria by HP Design Studio is an exceptional example of minimalist design with the right use of elements to enhance the spaces. The spaces are designed to be efficiently functional, flexible and appealing with a keen focus on the client’s lifestyle and needs. With the design team’s focus on details, right from the conceptual idea, and sourcing of high-quality materials to the installation of bespoke fixtures, the final product mirrored the original concept.
